Hi Jennifer, wow that sounds like a pretty screwy deal you got there!

The current iPhone actually has Bluetooth, but it is hardly implemented anywhere. Instead, it seems Apple have assigned Bluetooth merely for using wireless headsets (and possibly stereo headphones in iPhone 2).

Also, you'll be pleased to hear that in the latest iPhone beta firmware (the almighty iPhone 2.0 software announced at the beginning of March) that Safari will let you save images to the iPhone's memory.

Looks like some of your wishes may have already come true!

Chad- I hear ya. I don't have an iPhone, but I did recently purchase one of the new motorola razr v8's... it's valued at around $500, but as a new service customer I got it for $250. Anyhow, the company I have a contract with says because the phone is so expensive they can't extend insurance on it. Isn't that crazy?! You'd think the more expensive the gadget, the more they would want you to insure it. But anyway, long story short, if the phone breaks and you need a new one, you don't get the same one. They downgrade you to a regular razr. Count your blessings Apple didn't screw you over like that.

Anyhow... what I'd like to see in future versions of the iPhone is bluetooth capability, and ability to download/upload files on the phone from the internet. but for now, bluetooth would suit me just fine, and i may consider looking into one.

What I'd still like to see: forgiveness on Seattle's crazy weather and how it affected my screen (cracked on the walk home - guarantee I didn't drop it).

$250 to replace the glass screen on a device I only spent $250 on in the first place? Ouch!

Perhaps a clearer, or improved warranty plan for enterprise users as our company won't touch the iPhone with a ten foot pole if there's not hardcore physical support. We have clutzy employees, after all.

I have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of of the iphone2 for some time... it suprises me that with all the iphone hype that more are not upset about ATT's law breaking with the Bush government on spying on US citizens - I wish Apple had chosen a more ethical carrier in the US.

I'm amazed the Times went to print on an article that misinformed? Like you said, the keynotes argue against most of their predictions and logic concludes the rest ;)

Truly excited about the new iPhone the bank has, sadly, kept me from obtaining one thus far but minor design alterations aside, 3G is the tipping point for me!

On a side note keep up the good posts!
