Good work Marcel, and thanks for posting back - the board looks great now. By the way I noticed in my original reply the code suggestion I typed did not come out properly due to the formatting on the blog system - I've now corrected this, not that it's needed now anyway ;)

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for the feedback. I will see if I can find the error. If I find the error I will post here how it was fixed so that other readers of this blog can use it as well.

Thanks, Marcel

marcel,
To fix that error you'll probably have to put <code>echo '</div>';</code> somewhere at the bottom section of the loop that iterates through the various categories. Just a suggestion- I havn't seen the code myself.

Yes, the script of the BlueFur WordPress Job Board is really great. Initially I had some problems setting it up as the links directed to the wrong site but with a bit of tweaking it all went well.

The only thing that annoys me and which I don't seem to be able to fix is that the original job board misses a closes somewhere in the code with the result that the page isn't horizontal straight. I notice that the sample page located on http://jobs.bluefur.com/ has the same problem. If you look at the second RSS fee on the page from the top, it is located on the rigth which is incorrect. Than each category indents a little more whereas is should be vertical aligned.

If this small bug could be fixed I would be a very happy bunny because this is a script I've been looking for quite some time.

Cheers, marcel

Hi Stass,

We're glad you like our content, and thanks for bringing this up.

People printing posts off? We're flattered!

To be honest, we never designed liquidicity for printing - 90% of our visitors won't print anything off ever, so we assumed it wouldn't be too much of an issue.

However, seeing as we now know that some of our visitors actually print our content out, and that they do it on a regular basis, we're going to make life a little easier for you.

We're going to work on a style sheet specifically designed for printing, and we'll probably hide all of the sidebar stuff, and all of the other unnecessary elements that are simply not needed on a piece of paper.

Many thanks for drawing our attention to this - we love trees too!

I really enjoy reading your posts. But why do I have to print 6 pages for a small post likt thisone ??!
I would really like a print stylesheet so all these trees won't be cut for nothing (five allmost empty pages with sidebar content is a waste).

Yeah, we are very interested in the job board idea. We have looked into this space recently and have quite a few ideas.

If you are working on anything along these lines we would love to hear about it!

Thanks.
