Comments on: iTunes 9 – Interface Changes

To be honest I’m not entirely sure I like all the changes. When it first installed my gut instinct was “on dear – what have they done…!”

I like the lighter toolbar, but the buttons and and shading somehow seems a little too heavy and unrefined. Also whilst some of the icons have improved, the Apps icon and the bell sort of feel like the contrast has been turned up to high in Photoshop!

The Store pages however are a massive improvement with some very nice touches.

You forgot the most important thing for us Brits: in the British English localisation, “movies” are now “films” [at least it is in the windows version]. Forget all the other changes, that’s by far more important than the rest

[edit: and "TV Shows" also becomes "TV Programmes" ]
