Speed Dial Now on iPhone<\/p>\n

Introducing Speed Dial, the easy way to call the numbers you need most.<\/p>\n

Speed Dial is a service provided by GoSquared that lets you bookmark a URL, along with the number you want to call, and add it to your iPhone’s Home Screen.<\/p>\n

All you need to do is follow these easy steps:<\/p>\n

\tFind a number you call a lot. eg: 118 118<\/b><\/p>\n

\tEnter “http:\/\/www.gosquared.com\/call.php” into Safari on your iPhone, but DON’T hit enter just yet.<\/b><\/p>\n

\tNow, put “?n=(your number)” after “http:\/\/www.gosquared.com\/call.php”<\/b><\/p>\n

\tTo get an icon for your Speed Dial Number, put “&i=” after your number.<\/b><\/p>\n

\tAfter “&i=” put the URL of your 57x57px Web Clip icon (don’t put http:\/\/ before the URL)<\/b><\/p>\n

So, your URL should look something like this:<\/p>\n

http:\/\/www.gosquared.com\/call.php?n=118118&i=www.gosquared.com\/images\/i\/apple-touch-icon_phelp.png<\/code><\/p>\n

That’s the tricky part done. Now just hit enter, and you will be greeted with a screen like this:<\/p>\n

For now, just click “Cancel”. This is so you can go and bookmark it. Follow the usual procedure: go to the “+” icon, and then “Add to Home Screen”.<\/p>\n

Now call it whatever you want, for example “Call Home”. Your Web Clip icon should show up on your Home Screen.<\/p>\n

Just click the icon next time you want to call that important number!<\/p>\n
