One of the most popular aspects of GoSquared has always been the ability to visualise where your visitors are right now. Today, we’re taking Map View to the next level.<\/p>\n
Since we started helping people understand their websites in real-time, Map View has been a staple of data visualisation. Since releasing Dashboard earlier this year, we’ve had some fantastic feedback on the new interface and new metrics available through GoSquared, and something people really missed was having the ability to view their visitors on a full screen map. The new full screen Map View is now available in Dashboard to everyone – just go to the Locations widget and hit the “full screen” icon in the top right to see the beautiful new Map View.<\/p>\n
In Dashboard the new full screen Map view has been completely overhauled making it really easy to zoom in and pan around any country in the world with an accurately computed night and day overlay that updates in real-time throughout the day without ever having to touch the refresh button.<\/p>\n
Map View enables you to visualise individual visitors on your site throughout the world right now. There’s also a real-time updating list of countries to show where you’re most popular right now.<\/p>\n
As with all of the widgets in Dashboard the new full screen Map View works on all devices and with additional awesomeness is Retina ready for all you lucky owners of new iPads and MacBook Pros.<\/p>\n
