Despite the mail product still being in Beta, as it has been since it opened up for invite-only use, Google have opened the doors to Googlemail and now allow all audiences to sign up to the service. This move was probably made due to Google realising that so many people use Googlemail anyway, however the wider range of audiences that could be attracted by this move to use Googlemail will undoubtedly boost consumers to Google&#8217;s product, and of course boost exposure to the embedded ads in the online application.
