We believe that profitability should not come at the cost of the environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Signing up to Terra Carta provides us with a structure to help us navigate that balance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-ten-articles-of-terra-carta\">The Ten Articles of Terra Carta<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-markets.org\/TerraCarta_Charter_Jan11th2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ten Articles<\/a> of the program&#8217;s mandate offer guidelines on how to incorporate sustainability into our actions and decisions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The articles provide suggestions and targets for us to blend into our development in 2023. Article 2, for example, provides suggestions for embedding<em>\u00a0<\/em>a &#8220;<em>Nature, People &amp; Planet<\/em> <em>ethos<\/em>&#8220;, and for ensuring carbon offsets are &#8220;<em>credible, transparent, and traceable&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we take our first steps into the world of sustainability and offsetting, these articles will provide us with valuable reference points to help guide our choices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-taking-our-first-steps\">Taking our first steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>How have we started our journey in becoming a climate-conscious business?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve taken some significant first steps in 2022 to instill the mandate&#8217;s guidance. These include; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ecosend.io\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Soft Launch of EcoSend<\/a>.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gosquared.com\/blog\/how-to-plant-a-tree-for-free-with-ecosend-by-gosquared\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Our Partnership with Tree-Nation<\/a>.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ecosend.io\/podcast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Releasing the EcoSend Podcast<\/a>.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gosquared.com\/blog\/the-gosquared-team-did-another-litter-pick-around-london\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Signing up to OnHand&#8217;s CSR platform<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re really only getting started here, and we can&#8217;t wait to see what&#8217;s still to come.
