  4. Now you'll need to configure the plugin. On your WordPress Admin panel, go to the left sidebar, click Settings > GoSquared.

  5. Copy and Paste your GoSquared Project Token (it starts with GSN) into the Project Token field and click 'Save Changes'. You'll find your Token in the 'Setup Guide' under the Install WordPress plugin option.

  6. In your WordPress settings you can optionally check the box to enable user tracking. This is useful if you have a login system on your site and you want to track your registered users on an individual level.
  7. Next you'll need to track your first pageview to verify everything is working. Open your site in a new tab and refresh the page a couple of times.

  8. Then head back to GoSquared to pass the Installation check here which will unlock your analytics dashboards.

Enable Gravity Forms Integration

If you have the Gravity Forms plugin installed and would like to capture leads into GoSquared when a Gravity form is submitted, you just need to enable to integration in your WordPress settings.

In your WordPress Admin page, browse to Settings > GoSquared and enable the 'enable gravity forms integration' checkbox.

Once enabled, when any Gravity form is submitted, it will create a profile in GoSquared. It is important to ensure you have an ‘email’ field as part of your forms, so that the profile is correctly identified.

  • For any text fields used in the form, GoSquared will automatically create ‘custom properties’ in GoSquared.

  • You can also add hidden input fields in Gravity Forms to create custom properties. For example, you could add a hidden input with a value of “Landing Page Sign Ups”. These will also create custom properties that you can subsequently filter by in GoSquared.

To add a column for a custom property, click the ‘+’ sign as shown below:

You can then create Smart Groups in your Customer Data Hub by using the filters for these custom properties, and selecting Save Smart Group.

See an example Smart Group filter set below:

Once a Smart Group is created you can trigger email alerts to notify you of new submissions, as well as export the data into CSV downloads, via the Actions tab.
