Getting Started with Engage

GoSquared Engage is the easiest way to send the right message to to the right person at the right time, on multiple channels.

Engage is designed to make messaging your contacts as simple as ABCD:

  1. Acquire leads with proactive on-site messages.
  2. Build relationships with leads to turn them into active users of your product.
  3. Convert users into customers with highly relevant email and in-app messages.
  4. Delight your customers by sending well-timed, engaging, helpful messages that drive satisfaction and retention.

Engage is a product with hundreds of powerful features.

Here are the four key areas of Engage:

Prompts

Prompts are designed to help you engage and convert your anonymous website visitors into leads.

For example, you might want to ask visitors who have been looking at your pricing page for more than 30 seconds if they have any questions. Prompts are an incredibly effective way to drive up conversion on your site, and reduce the length of your sales cycle.

Broadcasts

Broadcasts are for sending one-off manual messages to a group of users.

For example, if you’re running an event next Wednesday in London, you could use Broadcasts to notify your London based users who have been online any time in the last month. Broadcast messages are sent as in-app messages.

Automated Messages are for sending behaviour-based messages to your users in-app, or via email.

For example, when users upgrade their subscription, you might want to send them a “thank you” note and ask if they have any questions – Automated Messages are an easy and effective way to do this.

Sequences

Sequences are an extremely powerful way to send a series of messages with a shared goal to your users.

For example, when new users sign up to your service, you likely want to encourage them to perform a specific action, such as activating a key feature. Sequences are a great way to send your users a series of messages both in-app and via email to nudge them towards activating your key feature.
