Information about Legacy Plans

This is the plans and pricing information for customers that started their GoSquared subscription before September 29th 2017.

Note: Legacy plans are not available to new customers, please see our up-to-date pricing information.

How our legacy plans worked

GoSquared is a monthly subscription service that automatically renews each month. Every plan included:

  • An unlimited number of team members/agents
  • Installation on an unlimited number of projects (sites/mobile apps)
  • Full use of the GoSquared Tracking and Reporting APIs

Legacy plans are charged based on how many datapoints (Analytics) you track and how many customer profiles (People CRM & Live Chat) you have stored.

Your bill is calculated by adding up the total usage across every site/project that you have GoSquared installed on.

Legacy Analytics plans – datapoint usage

Analytics plans are based on monthly datapoint usage. Datapoints power the:

  • Now dashboard – real time analytics
  • Trends dashboard – historical analytics
  • Ecommerce dashboard – revenue analytics

What is a datapoint?

A datapoint is a single pageview, event or transaction. For example if you track 5 pageviews, 3 events (e.g. button clicks) and 2 transactions – combined you will have used 10 datapoints.

Legacy People CRM and Live Chat plans – profile usage

CRM and Live Chat could be used independently of Analytics. Legacy CRM plans are charged based on the total number of profiles (contacts) that you have stored in the People dashboard. This is totalled across all of the site/projects that you use People CRM or Live Chat on.

What is a People profile?

Profiles are a way of storing detailed history and information about your users on an individual level. Profiles are not created for anonymous visitors, unless they start a live chat conversation with you.

  • Identified profiles – after installing People CRM, for every new visitor that you identify (i.e. when they login, register, join a mailing list etc.) a profile will be created for them. All their future sessions, activity and Chat history will be tracked against their profile.

  • Anonymous Chat profiles – when an anonymous visitor starts a Chat conversation with you, a profile is created to store their chat history. If this user eventually signs up for your service, their Anonymous Chat profile is automatically merged into their new Identified Profile.

You can also delete profiles at any time.
