💡 What are Smart Groups & Automated Messages?
Smart Groups are intelligently-defined segments of your user-base.
Smart Groups work in real-time, meaning whenever a User fits the criteria of a Smart Group’s filters, they will enter into it. Additionally, as soon as they no longer fit the criteria of the group, they will exit.
Engage is GoSquared’s messaging platform. There are four categories inside Engage:
✅ Messages - automated single-use messages
✅ Sequences - automated series of messages
✅ Broadcasts - manual single-use mass messages
✳️ Prompts - pop-up messages installed on pages of your website/app.

Use Smart Groups to intelligently define your users, then craft your accompanying messages within Engage to trigger when users enter/exit your Groups.

You will start with a series of default filters, which you can use to segment Users into Smart Groups. You can create your own custom filters by adding custom Events; explored in detail here.
