Product Range & Pricing
GoSquared charges based upon usage of resources including but not limited to number of tracked datapoint and identified people.
Subscription limits are enforced on a monthly basis, even if you choose to be billed yearly for your subscription.
Prices vary depending on what usage levels you choose. Please see the Plans and Pricing Page for more information.
When you sign up to GoSquared for the first time, you will receive a 14-day trial, allowing you to test and decide whether you'd like to pay for GoSquared.
GoSquared reserves the right to alter the prices subscriptions and usage levels at any time.
14-day Free Trial
All new GoSquared accounts will be eligible for a 14-day free trial.
You may switch to a paid subscription during the trial period but you will be billed for the new subscription immediately.
Billing & Delivery
You may upgrade your GoSquared account at any time during the 14-day free trial you will be billed immediately.
Once the 14-day free trial is complete, or you activate a paid subscription, you will be billed for the subscription which you selected during the 14-day trial period.
If you did not select a subscription level during your 14-day free trial, your account will be automatically placed in a holding state until you choose to upgrade.
The standard billing period is every calendar month for monthly plans, and 365 days for yearly plans.
Modifying your subscription
If you modify your subscription usage limits after your 14-day free trial and select "Now" as the billing time option, your subscription will be updated immediately, any remaining usage for your current billing cycle will be pro-rated and credited to your account, and you will be billed the difference between this credit and your new subscription price immediately.
If you modify your subscription usage limits after your 14-day free trial and select "Next Cycle" as the billing time option, your subscription will remain with the same limits until the end of your current billing cycle, whereupon it will switch to the new limits and you will thereafter be billed at the new rate.
If you exceed any of your subscriptions limits, you will be billed overage at the equivalent rate of your current subscription.
If you have chosen to be billed monthly for your subscription, overage will be calculated at the same rate as your current subscription based on usage above your limit, and added to your next monthly invoice.
If you have chosen to be billed yearly for your subscription, any usage above your limit for a given month will be charged overage at the equivalent rate as your current subscription. Overage levels are calculated at the end of each whole month in your billing cycle and added onto your next charge, which will be issued either at the beginning of your next billing cycle in addition to your recurring subscription charge, or once your total outstanding overage exceeds $5 (if you choose to be billed in USD) or £5 (if you choose to be billed in GBP).
Value Added Tax (VAT)
GoSquared is required to charge VAT to customers in the European Union
Customers in the UK will be charged VAT at the UK rate of 20%.
Customers elsewhere in the EU will be charged VAT at the rate of their respective country. Rates for EU countries can be found in our support centre.
Business customers in the EU but not in the UK may provide a VAT number. In this case, VAT will not be charged, but customers will be responsible for accounting for VAT in their local VAT return.
GoSquared currently accepts payments in US Dollars (USD) and Pound Sterling (GBP) only.
We can currently accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express payments. We can also accept other payment types if required on Enterprise plans.
Changing Your Billing Details
Your billing details may be changed at any time.
To change your billing details, log in to your GoSquared account and go to the Account management page found Here. Simply click the button entitled "Edit Billing Details" and follow the steps on screen.
Your billing details can also be changed whenever you modify your subscription limits.
Cancelling your Subscription Plan
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. On cancelling your paid subscription, and after your current billing cycle is complete, your account will be placed on the free tier.
Modifying your Subscription plan
As a GoSquared account owner, you can modify the levels associated with your subscription limits at any time.
To do this, sign in to your GoSquared account and go to the Plans and Pricing area.
Simply select the new usage limits you require and follow the steps you are guided through.
For information on the precise details of billing associated with changing your subscription levels, please refer to "Billing & Delivery" above.
The GoSquared free tier provides a certain level of available usage without requiring billing data. If you choose not to upgrade to a paid plan before the end of your 14-day trial, you will be placed onto the free tier.
Limits for the free tier are enforced on the same monthly basis as paid subscriptions.
At any time you can downgrade your GoSquared account from a paid plan to the free tier by decreasing your subscription's limits to those of the free tier.
After your 14-day free trial has finished, you will be charged the agreed plan price every calendar month, or if you chose a yearly plan every year.
You can cancel your plan at any time and you will not be charged again.
GoSquared is billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.
Failed Payment Policy
If your billing details fail to work for any reason, we will attempt to recharge you, first after one day and, should this fail, we will try again within 7 days of the of the last failed attempt.
If our attempt to charge you fails seven times in total, your subscription will be cancelled and your account will be downgraded to the a holding state immediately.
If you have an active subscription plan registered prior to February 3rd 2014 (a "Legacy Subscription") you may continue to use GoSquared with this subscription. Overage charges as described above do not apply; instead your usage of GoSquared will be limited to the level described by your active subscription. You can change your subscription at any time to a different level, at which point your subscription will be changed to accommodate the new limits and the above terms will apply. When you modify your legacy subscription you will be transferred to your new subscription immediately.
Time for your subscription to take effect (delivery time)
Any subscription change described above as "immediate" should be automatically provisioned within ten minutes. If after 10 minutes, your changes have not been applied, please contact us and we will resolve any problems as quickly as possible.
