Here are some popular video controllers for some popular video sites on the net.
aol's offering: too much wasted space, and too much colour.
Blip tv: An attractive control- simple, maybe too simple?
Google video: Probably our favourite- simple, with advanced options, nice big play button, soft to look at. Well done Google.
Imeem: Very simple, very sexy, and semi transparency is a great idea.
Yahoo video: Incorporates Yahoo's trademark purple colour-scheme, and essential controls. A good controller from Yahoo.
